We can answer all of your questions!!!
Anyone can apply on their own online. However, New York State makes it easier for all New Yorkers to enroll in the marketplace by providing in-person assistance with a certified Navigator.
The Health Initiative has trained Navigators to help St. Lawrence County residents understand the marketplace and their options. We understand that it can be difficult to travel and take time off to use this assistance, therefore we have enrollment opportunities for you at over 13 different sites across the county. Our navigators will even be available on some evenings and Saturdays!
What will you need to get Health Insurance? You should know, and be prepared to show proof of:
- Address, Date of Birth, Social Security Number
- Information regarding your Citizenship, Immigration Status
- Proof of Employment, Household Income, Income Tax
- Medicaid Benefit, Unemployment Information
Listen to what some of our participants have to say about the Navigator program:

“If it wasn't for the "navigator" I [would] never had gotten thru any of it. THANK YOU!!!”
